Quintessentials 2010

I came across another Barbie site today and I must say I'm impressed!  I never thought Mattel put up a simple site rich with eye-candy doll photos!

Two 2010 dolls rather caught my fancy.  I have no idea if they would be released in the market.  But one thing's for sure, they are already in my must-have list whether they are launched or not.  :-)

Golden Angel™ Barbie® Doll

"Finally!!! One of my eBay purchases is here! But...which one?"

I recently received an eBay international purchase last May 20th, 2010. I had no idea which of my orders came until I unwrapped the brown paper from the box. Boy, was I super excited! ;-)


Seeing the content written on the box made me even more ecstatic! At last, my Golden Angel Barbie has arrived! ;-)

"Whoa!!! She looks so real!!! It's as if she's eagerly waiting for the box to be opened!"

I was really surprised because her publicity photos didn't give her beauty justice. She's way more mesmerizing and beautiful in person!

She's much sweeter and delicate in person if you were to ask me. And I'm really glad I got her! I'll be posting more of her photos once I have found the best dress suited to her meek and adorable face.

An Introduction...

I am Robin Cua. I am a doll and action figure collector for two and-a-half years now.

I acquire dolls primarily on the uniqueness of their faces. The more realistic they look, the better. I collect dolls mainly because I love taking their photos. I am an amateur photographer with no formal training and am still saving up for a DSLR camera, that is, if I can control myself from purchasing more and more dolls. ;-)

But it hasn't always been that way. There was a time when I bought dolls just to hoard them. Only to realize later on that I do not really like or need what I purchased.

I must admit that I am an impulsive buyer and toys are my priority when the need to spend attacks. ;-)

Collecting dolls is a continuous learning experience for me. I have wasted a considerable amount of money on dolls I really didn't like yet also enjoyed significant bargains on most of the items in my collection.
